Re: Does BASK NOT sleep?
Thank you everyone! Your condolences and well wishes mean a lot to me, and you are all so very kind and considerate. I still miss Mr. Humphreys deeply, and it so easy to shed tears again just thinking of him. Tofu, I hope your kittee is feeling better soon! I send my best wishes to your kittee, you, and your family. Thomas, thank you for posting the pic of Mr. Humphreys and Blue Kong. Those were indeed happy times! An update: I've been crazy busy at work, and I've missed a lot on the Boards. BUT, Hubby and I were so devasted by the loss of Mr. Humphreys, that we couldn't bear the silence of our home without the pitter patter of kittee paws. We (well ok, "I"), looked through over 3500 kittee rescue posts on Petfinder.com (a great way to find a new pet and to save an animal from the pound). We went to visit many rescue facilities and homes, from Sacramento to Monterey. We finally found our new kittee... Here is Mr. Bean. He's a long and skinny cat, but quite a big one. He's only 1.5 years old, and very much a kitten at heart. He looks as if he's part bengal and part tabby-very nice stripeys and spots. He loves to attack things, wear hats, and isn't bothered by Kaiju. From the size of him now, he'll grow into quite a biggie cat! He's playing with Timmie Tadpole (these are hand crocheted--yep! even the airplane! by Marilyn Patrizio), number 200 in a series of hand-crocheted critters! We are very lucky to have adopted Mr. Bean! And, he hopes to be featured with "more Kaiju on my Kittee", in the future

Way to get straight back on that bike by adopting a new cat!! Will he be collecting Butanohana too? Or does he prefer other stuff from your first impressions?

Mr. Bean says Thank you, RedYoda! He prides himself in keeping his coat in tip top stripey pyjama state . organic_addict wrote: Way to get straight back on that bike by adopting a new cat!! Will he be collecting Butanohana too? Or does he prefer other stuff from your first impressions? Thomas, we really thought about waiting to adopt again, but we didn't see the need to, as we really wanted another kitteh child. The hardest part was visiting all those poor rescue kittees, I wish I could have adopted them all --so much cuteness needing good homes. Mr. Bean does indeed wish to continue expanding the household Butanohana collection! He's currently learning how to scour JYA for an M1 Go (mr. big lips ), purple dustman, that little squiddie and birdie sculpt. He just won a Red King a few weeks ago, and is very excited by that! In the meantime, the Kaijyu are becoming acquainted with their new furry taxi and play station... Little dino's notice that this kittee has much denser fur and a little on the coarse side, but still softie! Good burrowing qualities! And Mr. Bean is learning that most of the toys are quite nocturnal in their wanderings... on him any way Best of all, the toys all seem to like Mr. Bean (even though he tends to like to jump on shelves and nibble on them! ) Mezzie is instructing Mr. Bean on where to locate small cans of cat fud, and even how to open closets and cabinet doors! THANK YOU Mr. Super Duper kind Toy God for my latest toy adoptions!!! Mescalon is my first Anraku, and it would not even have been possible, except for a VERY kind hearted and devoted Boardie!!! The little dinos and the blue-grapefruit head birdie (who looks like he's wearing a starfish) are super duper cool!

I am liking it so far. Since it is an asian MMO, making money is no problem. You do get the usual problems with finding groups missing tanks and healers so if you want to play with a lot of groups, be a templar or cleric. I think the chanter is the best solo play. Good dps and you can heal yourself in battle. I've been playing a chanter (lvl18) but I'm gonna roll a tank. Oh...clerics and chanters wear chainmail and can use a mace and shield...the way the D&D class is so, you have a better survival rate. The class structure is a little different since you are locked into one class at lvl9-10. In WoW, you can dual-spec and that's the biggest advantage. I'm on Vaizel/Asmodian...Obake (chanter) or Kuchisake. If you don't like PvP at all, stay with WoW. PvP is said to reap the best rewards in Aion while PvE gear is just kinda mediocre. I like the game enough that it has pulled me away from MW/MW2 and my NHL10 season.

Re: Does BASK NOT sleep?
rad. i might check it out, but most likely I'll stick with WoW. I'm finishing up levelling a new warlock, got sick of melee. after that, i'll level a hunter that I have at 59. god bless RAF. In SF-related news, looks like we'll be in town in a month or so January 7-13! woot

Re: Does BASK NOT sleep?
So sorry for your loss Grace. : ( I'm sure you brought just as much joy to Mr. Humphreys as he did to your family.
Happy you've added another member to your family! : ) Pet finder is pretty awesome. We lost our Chesapeake Bay retriever a few years ago and thru Pet finder rescued and added another wonderful canine to our family.
I'd try introducing him to Anraku figures but I know the outcome wouldn't be very good for a Goga. ; ) Hmmm maybe I'll try giving my dog Argus an "Imperial" Gojira figure...no big loss there. ; )
