120% LASK...
ACCEPT NO IMITATIONS. ALL OTHER TOY KREWS SUCK.
Congrats to the " Bay Area Skull Krew" on official recognition and their very own forum. LASK will be rolling into SF soon and look forward to meeting the "BASK" faithful and collecting our 20% royalty for the "SK" in "BASK".
Best of luck on your new venture. A few things to keep in mind:
1. matching t-shirts don't make a krew.
2. shopping at the same toy store doesn't make a krew.
3. If you have to ask what *does* make a krew, you're not part of a krew.
4. "Bay Area Toy Enterprise" or "BATE" has a catchy ring and might be a nice alternative.
p.s. top billing for "BASK" over muton's minute? Boooo!!!!

Yo, LASK, I offered to print shirts up for you guys for free, how much more "fees" do you expect? Also, almost every Sat we meet at S7, geek out, and go to eat Japanese food, if thats not a "Krew" I dont know what is.Also, we fight the local gang, the Sharks, or is it the Jets?

It's sad when those with inferiority complexes overcompensate in public.
Seriously though, thank you but no thanks for the lecture on how to be a "krew." As lokash said, we've already got some great things going with more to come. We are already more than mere shoppers. Some cool friendships have come of the local Saturday pilgrimage and new ones are constantly forging.
Next time we organize a trade swap we might invite the LASK members who can make it up here. It'd be good times for sure.
We fight the Jets because the Sharks dance better.

True, but even sadder when the original (and best) LASK name is jacked by BASK nearly two years after LASK formed

I actually think you have a good point there. I didn't realize that the acronym had been jacked ... just that it was a logical co-coining.
I have no idea what else the Bay Area group might be called, but I'm afraid to ask for any suggestions from LASK.

WHAT?!! This name just didnt pop up today, weve had a many thread discussing names for the Bay/SF "krew", alot of them were in the old MUton forum. The fact that LASK is making a big deal over this is a little, um, DISTURBING.

Like I said above - just messing - but come on - we have to have inter-krew friction, right????

a stoogie?
is that like a stooge? or maybe some kind of cigar?
LASK is of course way bigger than three people (actually it is, don't forget OG's Oui and Rick, plus a rotating cast of other awesome folk) - its a way of life - and we don't even have the lure of an S7 release to get us altogether on a Saturday morning - its much more organic than that. LASK is a state of mind. LASK is ... forever.

I think we need to take a cue from the Bloods and Crips circa 1990 and make a rap album together and squash this beef, because after all we are all in the same gang. Super 7 gang.
Instead of the Zap and Roger flavored hit of "Piru love" from the bloods and crips album, we could have
" Anraku love"
" aint nothin' but a JP thing"
" 187 on flippers "
" Why cant we be friends( Gargamel and Secret Base) "
" Put them behind glass "
" Today was a good day, on YJA "
" Realx Head is dead "
and many more

Not yet Jeremy! We need more good natured aggro.
And Jeb, u r correct, I DO owe LoSK an apology...but u guys have to up teh ante a bit more OK. The international gang warfare call was a good start tho!
