Well, as a sign of the times to the rising real estate prices, the art installation, known as "Defenestration", is sadly, being taken down You have until June 3, 2014 to see the installation... one last time
In other news...Arch is being evicted. I'm sure many of you don't know Arch but the last paragraph in the article just sums up everything going wrong with San Francisco.
Arch is unique. I've loved them since they were in their original location. Terrible that they're being evicted. As you probably know were also losing Flax Art Supplies (to the glass wall of condos that Upper Market has become.)
I had no idea this was being taken down, I had always enjoyed whenever I was in the area. It was really a bit of an inspiring piece, showing what public art could do. We need more sculptures this good...
