Finish it! Finish it!

Thanks for the encouragement!
I'll try to get back to this during the next few days.

Ditto! It reminds me of the stories in the old Microman catalogs that were discarded when the new Microrobot world came along.

Kept without posing it can still connect with other blockman toys like normal:
Shoulders, hips, elbows and knees are all ball jointed:
The head and the chest both have swivel:
It also can still wear the armor (not chest swivel with chestplate on though):
Detail of weathered paint:
Enjoy!
That is so sick, and so Matt! I can't believe he even did the waist.
Also those bootlegs are really neat! I've never seen that before.
I've had a few of the Revell RoboLinks versions from back in the day, but just this last year I lucked into a large sized lot of sets from a local collector on the cheap. I've barely touched them, I'm saving them for a rainy day and after I've finished getting the collection cleaned/picked up/sorted out/triaged. I look forward to trying out building that dino... I love all the accessory parts, and they ways they can interchange with Microman and Diaclone stuff nicely.

Yeah the waist is ridiculous.

I need to find some of those vehicle ones. I only have two lonely little Armored Droids right now. Nice collection of boots!

Ah did you buy the couple that were being sold with the dealer catalogs on ebay this past year? I totally slept on that auction, but that was the only other time I had seen these for sale. These were tough to track down. I eventually ended up with about 60 pieces still in capsules (the armor comes separate from the robot and each capsule contains a little catalog) There are 4 styles of armor at least from what I've found and all of the plastic colors I was able to find are shown below, so robot wise it's white or yellow, and parts wise it's purple, aqua, red, and blue. I wish I had some spare vehicles parts for you, but i gave all of my duplicates to a friend last year.

Man, I totally need an armor set... someone oughta make recasts of these guys or something for customs.

Nope. I was at work and missed on all that guy's auctions. Sad part was I would have paid more than they went for, but I don't use snipe services. Oh well.

Cool info to know, thanks!

I missed it as well. I would have liked to have gotten those dealer catalogs or at least scans of them.

I think there was a place online with the pics. It's basically your typical catalog pics, similar to the Robolinks box front pics. The only really cool thing is they used Blockman toys for the shoot, and the green and white A-12 Machine Driller was used. The catalog doesn't show everything ether, the Force 1X's are missing.

Thanks for the info. If you see those scans around let me know I'd like to see them.

Picked this up at a toy show over the weekend. I was shocked to see it sitting in someone's case with a bunch of other TFs.

you're hardcore Daniel. you have to tell the backstory to the uninitiated on how rare this little gem really is. congrats on the score.

On the right is M1 Micro Gordon (Blue Type) from 1981 New Microman Series Micro Robot 1-2-3
On the left is a model kit of Micro Gordon that I won in an ebay auction.
I'm not sure who made this, probably Nitto.
Here is the Takara Micro Gordon in the box with the model kit of Micro Gordon on the left
and the model kit of M3 Micro Flash on the right.

glad i stumbled upon this. Love G1s but have not bought any. The only Transformers I've bought where the WST line, really wish they would have continued with it.
Sun Aug 12, 2012 1:48 pm
There are tons of bootleg WSTs as well that are top quality if you're looking to stay in that scale. Might not be a bad idea because its a slippery slope!
Sun Aug 12, 2012 10:24 pm
super slippery. I'm looking forward to picking up the WST Astrotrain
