 Bad Trip resins
Fresh jpgs from Monstre Hero. Whoaaa I'm like totally freaking out man. The first Bad Trip resin pulls. The first edition will be a mix and match of clear, clear purple, and opaque purple bodies and caps. Once I get them all finished up, I'll update with finished shots and release information.

 Re: Bad Trip resins
All done with wave 1. I exacto'd the hell out of my fingers trying to cut pour spouts off these little guys, but I think the bloodshed was worth it and I'm glad I'll be able to release something for Halloween. If anyone is interested, just visit Splurrt for release info, I'm going to put them up on Wednesday. Thanks for looking.

 Re: Bad Trip resins
I cut my little spouts off when it is still setting up, so its still kinda soft. Makes it a bit easier to do. Good job on the toys!

 Re: Bad Trip resins
these are cool, but look a little friendlier than a "bad trip". not that I've ever had one or ever been able to get off the last one. still trying to describe that color.....

 Re: Bad Trip resins
Depending on the size you can usually grab the sprout with pliers and twist it off. Also don't cut towards you if your finger is in the way. My dad is like Grand Champion of that.
Also, I dig the sculpt but the paint should emphasis the "face" more.

 Re: Bad Trip resins
Thanks guys. It was just kind of hard getting a good grip on these guys without my finger coming into harms way. Just because of their size, each piece is probably just 2" tall. The figure is 3" when the cap is on. I'll have to try twisting it off with pliers. Once you get into your rhythm it's kind of fun carving away though. Makes me want to try wood whittling.

 Re: Bad Trip resins
I never have luck with twisting, it always takes too much. The dremel is the only way to go and this guy is pretty handy too: xacto #22 large carving blade
