FOEZ! One off airbrushed Podiagon!
I'm new here but here is the project I'm currently working on in collaboration with Halfbad toyz. Its a line that will incorporate 10 resin figures total at about the same scale with TMNT, toxic crusaders, etc.... The design work is very much influenced and inspired by the crazy, odd, and grotesque toys of the 80's! First of the line was FOEZ!#1: Skekiltor: the mace of Hades our second figure that just released this last weekend is FOEZ!#2: Podiagon previously known as "feet head" and our third figure yet to be named is currently in the works. I've done the design and sculpting and the amazing guys at halfbad have been doing the molding casting and in some cases painting. We'll start with skekiltor and move down the list, I'll use this topic to archive as we move on with this crazy project! FOEZ!#1: Skekiltor the mace of Hades: initial sculpt glow in the dark resin Hand painted by halfbad FOEZ!#2: Podiagon initial concept finished sculpt with toys for size comparison back header-card for the gitd violet exclusive gitd resin hand painted by halfbad FOEZ!#3: concept More soon....

Re: FOEZ!
Sweet, and nice paint! I would love to see them with articulation but great sculpting and characters none the less. They fit well within that style. Feet head, ha.

Skekiltor is stationary, but Podiagon has four points of articulation as well as his removable "sludge gun" were hoping to put 4 points on the 3rd guy too except i want his claw and head to move about as well as his arms.

Re: FOEZ!
Really fantastic work! Love the TMNT vibe, and loving the articulation, something I felt Skekilitor needed. I'm curious how some spray-style paint would look on him too.

Yeah i was really hoping we could articulate skekiltor but it was our first shot at a collab and we wanted to "test the water" so to speak before we jumped in to fast, may still re-work him, I'm pretty curious myself i know that skeks been done up once but i think Podiagon would rock a spray if done right. toybotstudios wrote: Great figure. have one myself. highly detailed sculpt and great paint application. Re: FOEZ!
Really really nice.
Well thought out sculpt wise all the way to the end!
Lots of complex details on a damn solid form and very well thought out!
There's "personality" and "action" in your stuff! Makes me want to play with it!

Re: FOEZ!
These aren't my thing but are so well done, especially in the vein of the TMNT pieces. I still need to find one of your thermo change pieces. Beautiful stuff.

Re: FOEZ!
based on what i have seen so far.... i so want every fuckin' figure you produce! amazing. straight up amazing. i'm even going to put aside my anti-resinism in this case. beautiful sculpt. the toxic crusaders influence is totally there. but i am also seeing some madball style too. totally an overload on detail.

That is always something I enjoy hearing! As odd as it may seem I too have issues with most resin alot of times people get lazy with it, increasingly I find my self irritated with more than just quality but i digress. I find that if the design is solid it helps alot in standing out of the crowd of bad resin, something I try hard to do. Thanks man! Yeah my influence tends to really show, I hope to continue to better refine my style and all the support from you folks helps me on my way. anywho....

Re: FOEZ!
$65+8.50S&H Wont do many of these, he takes a ton of resin. 2 points of articulation (shoulders) "goo-gun" accessory One off paint job, orange, purple metallic, black pearl, on clear green resin. 2 coats of protective gloss the tiny "feet antenna" are securely glued in.
