Thanks, guys. Joe, I was looking at my Paul Kaiju Junker V Medik when I painted these, but you are totally spot on as well. Hikaruo's 1J always was my favorite.




My submission to Kaiju for Japan is the ‘Weathering version’ of the Rollout color Microfighter. It features decals and a battle and use-worn finish, with some minor battle damage added. Battered but holding strong.

Task Force G was one of the first operational Microfighter deployments after the initial Rollout. Their bright colors make them a comforting site when combating Killer Culture outbreaks in populated areas.





The Microfighter divisions have been seeing many more deployments with the recent increase in Killer Culture outbreaks.

Task Force G Microfighter detailed up with decals, wear, and weathering. He’s been in the thick of it and keeps on kicking.


This guy is the first of three special one-offs to be revealed for the drop on April 30th. Production figures will be $25 and the one-offs will be $30 each.


I detailed this guy up with whatever decals I could scrounge from my leftovers, and am really happy with the end result. I will definitely have to find some more standardized decals for production batches in the future. The weathering was all done with acrylics.

To be perfectly honest I wasn't to crazy about these when I first saw them in the sculpture stages.
Glad I kept following the thread because you have totally won me over with your magic. A really great little figure and I will definitely be trying to grab one of these up. Kudos!

The decals really bring that last guy together well. I'd love to see some articulation worked in, should be pretty simple with the boxy shapes.

Thanks, Connel, I really appreciate that! I know that my sculpting skills and painting abilities are not quite on the same level, so my goal was to be able to paint these so well that the slightly squidginess of the sculpts would be ok.

Microfighter in the Gurio colors, dripping with gloss and pearl. This guy was an experiment in more simple, kaiju-ey sprays on the Microfighter. Plus, the release needed more green figures.

As far as I’m concerned, it should be illegal to make a robot toy and not paint at least one in army colors. Thus, the Real Type.

As part of the Monster Invitational Show, Jim (FOE’s esteemed owner) was looking for smaller goodies from the contributors that could be up at the counter looking pretty. I’ve had some of these Micros sculpted for a while now, so the opportunity seemed perfect to get a couple more done and get a new mold made! I got some nice feedback on the prototype Micro featured in the TAG Battle Pack, so it seemed like good timing to get cranking on more. These guys will be available individually for just $5 exclusively at FOE, show opening July 8th. For $5 you get a one-inch resin booger sprayed with pretty Monster Kolor. As an added bonus and some play value, each Micro also features a small rare-earth magnet in the base, so you can stick them to your fridge, desk, pet robot, or wherever!

The minis are cool Ben. The magnets are a nice feature.

Those micros are a great batch of badguys for the fighters! Love the concept and execution!
