 Re: Human Slayers
F'ing sweet, if the skulls are supposed to be armor I would define the skull more than having it fade into the neckline

 Re: Human Slayers
I'm liking these too. Changeable heads would be cool.
Good luck with the sculpting.

inspired by ed roth, rat fink, obake dogs, and upon looking the lamour bootlegs, but these guys just have a lot of eyesballs and slay humans, wearing the skulls as armor.
goblin and demon shown here
maybe same bodies and interchangeable heads a la SOI line, 5-6 inches tall or so.
oOMoSOo is going to be my partner in crime You know what i think of them! and man i can't to get started

 Re: Human Slayers
I love them! It's gonna be tricky for them to stand with those small feet! But I'm sure you'll figure it out! Good luck.

 Re: Human Slayers
Awesome! Don't lose the small feet, it seals the deal, even though they will be hard to sculpt.

 Re: Human Slayers
if balance is an issue give them a gi joe style stand, maybe even put some sculpt into it so it would be diorama/statue like

 Re: Human Slayers
thanks for all the input guys, im hoping to keep the small feet/boots as well, they are a recurring theme in my drawings most of the time, plus i love monsters in boots.
we are shooting for 5-6 inches in height, hopefully super detailed, and maybe even ending up with a massive collection of cool heads

 Re: Human Slayers
They look cool but they do remind me of the LS bootlegs... I guess the difference is in the story... The similarity wouldn't disway me from wanting one, and I'm sure they'll look a lot different once sculpted.

 Re: Human Slayers
I don't collect toys anymore, and never collected or was interested in resin stuff in the first place. With that being said, I am super excited to see what comes of these.

 Re: Human Slayers
2-3 hours in! im super excited with this so far in its early stages! steve is a beast we nixed the skull body for obvious reasons ( over flow of cool skull bodied figures) and we are going with exposed guts jacket deal

 Re: Human Slayers
I like it but I think something I loved and seems to have been lost is the over sized head...

 Re: Human Slayers
thanks for the thoughts and input everyone- it is being noted!
on a side note for the vinyl enthusiasts- would a possible later release in this warrant enough positivity for a kickstarter or preorder deal?
i want to get this first guy out in resin to test the waters with interest and paint and whatnot- thinking if vinyl is a possibility then releasing another variant head for starters.

Variant heads and colorways would be the way to go with this for sure! Can't wait to see final sculpt!

 Re: Human Slayers
front of the face is completed- we are working out the body- trying to trim down to the drawings shape and still keep stability and height- clocking in at 5-6 inches still- got a little surprise for the head to cut down costs with resin and weight- to make the changing of heads to be easier.... stay tuned! also- can we move this to resonators?

 Re: Human Slayers
Thanks for the feedback from everyone, I'm taking it all down as we go here trying to do the best I can to keep in the same feel as the illo. I'll have another WIP to toss this way soon.
