Clear resin and condensation cured silicone mould problem

Wed Aug 13, 2014 12:35 pm

So, I excitedly received my new water-clear resin today, along with some pigment. Somehow I had overlooked this on the site I bought it from, but there it is, in huge letters, "DO NOT USE IN CONDENSATION CURED SILICONE MOULDS"

Turns out this is the exact silicone that I used. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there perhaps a way to overcome it and ignore their warning? I know this is a bit vague but I'm keen for the resin not to go to waste.

On the other hand I'm struggling to find a clear, quick setting resin that would work in my mould. Feeling massively lost at sea if any resin pros would be able to help it would be greatly appreciated.
