I need a nav system. Does anyone have one to recommend or has anyone ever used a tom tom ??

Don't do it man. That's the darkside. Use a kaiju map instead. We're all losing the ability to think and navigate for ourselves. That aside, I found the Garmin to be pretty good. They even have a wrist watch version.
