I still venture out from time to time for a show but the kids aren't playing anything I'm interested in anymore. I've found that non hardcore bands are playing better hardcore than hardcore bands these days.
I really do feel like those hippies I made fun of in the 80s for hanging on to something that died a long time ago. oh, I'm not expecting it to get any better.
and I rarely ever venture out anymore either. not that we really have hardcore shows in philly to even go to anymore.
these days I mostly just sit and listen to metal in my bedroom with no lights on

You guys have to have this thread about Metalcore, getting old, Christian Black metal and more, all as I'm trying to get ready for Wondercon. If I wasn't I'd type for ever. Aargh!
P.S. I've actually heard "good" Christian Black Metal. By good I mean the music was good, it was, of course, super retarded otherwise.
