watching the new cleaning service nervouse breakdown
I am watching the new cleaning service clean the glass cases in the office (just the outside).
I am freaking the fuck out right now. I can't stop staring at them they probably think I am a sleaze but I am really just a anal retentive geek.
God give me the strength to make it through this day. I miss my old cleaning lady.

That is a freaky feeling. I always do a complete collection inventory after the maids leave. Good luck, and may the cleaning gods bless you with righteous dusting and such.

No shit. I don't know as though I'll ever run into this problem. Unless my wife decides she wants to dust....

Pull'em over to the side, give'em a couple instructions, no more than two and keep it simple, then hand them a nice, not to much, not to little, tip.

Oops - I misunderstood. I thought you meant your office at home. Short of dropping a match and destroying 25 years' worth of paperwork there's not much they could do to fuck up the office I work in.

i would never bring stuff i really consider "sentimentally valuable" for this reason. i would hate to come in one morning to something has gone missing. stuff has dissapeared before.

luckily my office is coded & locked while we are not there,,,and there are only four of us....
the officemates have all slowly but surely warmed to my ever changing in-office toy display..even quizical when packages arrive....
as for the cleaning lady,,i put the toys in a tucked away place when she arrives,,i can picture her spraying lyesol right onto the paintjobs,,with all the best intentions....

Best solution for cleaning glass is the blue Zep from Home Depot.
It looks like a Windex bottle but much better than Windex.
I use it to clean chandeliers and french windows.
One of my secrets!

If a new cleaning person shows up wearing those glasses with the fake nose & moustache and a RFSO t-shirt, you know you are in trouble.
