wow! are KTM 450s tough to ride? you dont make them jump over hilly terrain, do you?

i see you in one of the photos beside your smooth Ducati---this bike is so sexy. I ride a Harley sportster myself--they say its a girlie bike , but i dont mind. It fits me well and it takes me around the city in style 8)

how many bikes do you have?

Yeah! And if you look closely, the jet boosters on each side could probably fly up a ten-ton hippo out to the mooon! Thats how powerful it is!!!!

Im too old for jumps.

I have my 450 set up for 'enduro' style fast cross country jamming. extra fuel cell on the back etc. It is a very fast and responsive ride. Pretty much will soak up any terrain at a decent speed. I did about 50 miles of single track yesterday, most of it standing up. Lately thats my thing, working on stamina. I am working up stamina so I can do a San Diego-Cabo Baja run and back run sometime in 2008 or 2009. Been a goal of mine for along time. On a single track I can maintian a decent 30-40 MPH average. On a halfway ok dirt road I can do avergae 60 mph speed.

thighs are burning today..feels good.
I have 2 other bikes, a 996 and atrackable 749 both Ducatis. My girlfriend rides a Honda on the dirt and a Ninja on the street.

its fun. very relaxing hobby.

aside from my cafe racer which is a harley sportster 883r ( a 2002 re-issue of the flat trackers evil kneivil used to ride) , i used to to own a 97 vespa 150 lx. vespa's got style, character and class!

i learned to ride dirt bikes about two years ago--we rode a yamaha 150 (we were learning to tame it in the dirt roads in the contryside). roads are pretty bad here in manila, so, dirt bikes pretty much could be the ride of choice for most of us here.

KTMs are very few here frank. but i'd like to own one someday. theres a desmo club here , but with very few members. Ducati's are so cool! You never liked riding a harley?

i wonder, are there many badass riders here on the boards? i mean, i see a lot of tattooed guys , with piercings, who are somewhat into the culture? i imagine there are a few harley enthusiasts here.
