 Mighty Boosh?
I love the Mighty Boosh! I watched every episode on youtube for the last three months. Wish they'd put out Season 1 & 2 on DVD Reigon 1. Any other fans of the surreal british comedy show on skullbrain? Julian Barrett is awesome, he's also quite good as Dan Ashcroft in Nathan Barley.

series three is on at the moment, it's pretty good! undecided as to whether its as good as the other two series. the pinnacle of funniness was definitely nightmare of milky joe and old gregg, although captain cabinets is a genius song
you can watch them on the website i'm pretty sure
also, why do you need it on zone 1? do you not get multi-zone players?
check out garth marangue's dark place (i think that's what it's called and also the spelling might be off) but that's pretty funny, featuring both julian and noel as well as a bunch of other actors from the boosh.
in other boosh news, they've just announced another live tour. Tickets go on secret presale friday. i've not seen the dvd of them live yet but apparently it's hilarity. Only downside is it's like 9+ months away!

Man who has time to buy a multi-region player when there is kaiju to score? *LOL*
Yeah I could get one if I could stop bidding on things with Celga!

Wow- I didnt think you guys had this in America!
Im sorry but- British comedy is the best in the world! It makes American look pathetic, dont get me wrong though- you lot are running things as far as drama is concerned- The Wire, The Sheild, The Sopranos, Deadwood, Lost and Prison break are a testiment to that-
If you like the mighty boosh- check 'Red Dwarf'- was huge in England in the 90's and the mighty boosh owes a lot to it.
Red Dwarf is better IMO.

red dwarf isn't really my cup of tea, but some of it was funny
i like reeves and mortimer (especially shooting stars), and of course things like allo allo, fools and horses and open all hours. i'm from nz and was raised on british comedy via my dad.
the office i quite liked (english version only) but haven't been able to get into extras
(btw i'm in london)

All those surreal comedy programs still stem from Monty Python- That has to be the greatest of all time!
I like only fools and horses- I dont think I have ever met anyone who hasnt!
On the subject of british Sit-coms-
Two pints of larger and a packet of Chrisps has been very good in recent years, along with Shameless and the Royal Family!

THE MIGHTY BOOOOOOSH!!!!!!
my girlfriend and I love this show. The first and second seasons were outstanding. The third one is picking up speed I think. In the start of season three, they were a bit repetitive in trying to re-establish the characters they had alread developed.
Eels- kicked ass, a little piss in the face absurd tho (the Cockney Hitcher reappears)
Journey to the Centre of Punk- okay, not thrilled-- vince/noel as black jazz demon (again? season 2 had this theme already)
The Flighty Zeus- I don't think anything supernatural happened in this episode, which is a bit of a change. good, but not as riotous as the episodes in first two seasons
Which brings me to, THE CRACKFOX---awesome. so good, just like old times.

Mighty Boosh is great. Actually, just grabbed series 1 last week. I had only up to now seen the later series. Has anyone seen the episode where they are stranded on the island w/ coconuts. Hillarious.
Spaced is one of my alltime fave UK series.

We don't have it in America, but that is the beauty of the net!
I'd have to agree with you that for the most part American comedy sucks. There are some bright spots though like Curb Your Enthusiasm and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia though. Its not 100% bad.

I met Julian Barret in the streets of New York around 3 years ago....after the first season was over...I had been watching Nathan Barley non-stop so I recognized him immediately. He was piss drunk and when I called him Dan Ashcroft he looked at me all crazy....we talked for a minute and he gave me a dvd of season 2 of Mighty Boosh. Two of my faves are The Day Today and Jam....Chris Morris is the shit!! Oh yeah, Mighty Boosh kicks ass!!! They need to make a vinyl figure of their logo/character....

3rd season is pretty weak compared to the first and second.
Biggest dissapontment for me was the fact that are recycling jokes and characters in the third from the first two, and yet the first and second series were poles apart and both fresh me and all my buddies love the show but we are all agreed that this new series is dissapointing I mean I still have watched every one (Crackfox being my favourite)
my two cents anyway.
