Post dumb Fresh Meat ? about glitter
So here's a dumb ???

Japanese vinyl toys that have glitter, like the dream rocket gabari or some of the blobpus figures, etc. Is the glitter on the surface of the vinyl/paint, or embedded in the vinyl? Does one need to handle these figures especially carefully so the vinyl doesn't come off?

Thanks for the 411, ya'll.

It depends. Dream Rocket toys mostly have the glitter embedded in the vinyl, as do the 'rame' vinyl toys. On the other hand, my ITY Cyclopus has the glitter on the surface of the toy.

For the second type (glitter on surface), the glitter will come off if you are rough with the toy.
