I've been bed ridden for the last 3 days with some serious stomach virus. And just wanted to say being sick sucks

I'm gonna miss out going to toy tokyo this weekend so if anyone is going please PM as I need to ask a favor.

Dude it feels like someone has their hand inside me grabbing an twisting my guts. I've been throwing up about once and hour. I'm so week as I have only had about 2 slices of bread and 3 cups of rice and broth soup in these 3 days. I hope this shit passes as its starting to get a bit depressing sitting home alone through all this.


Not to mention I may get fired from my job for so many days off work...


On a lighter note I have been able to catch up on some old movies I've wanted to watch

Yeah went yesterday and they gave me something for my nausea and pain. They said it was some sort of nero gastrological stomach virus ?

It will last about 5 days or more and I will be contagious for about 2 weeks

Yeah that particularly nasty little bug has been making the rounds all over the northern half of CT. Not cool at all. I mean it when I say I feel your pain. And it was painful.

UGH. I feel your pain. A few years ago I got salmonella food poisoning. Gut-wrenching, non stop retching, head spinning misery. Sorry brother.

I remember the rice, toast and soup diet... ugh...

Take small sips of gator-aid if you're barfing that much. Don't wanna get dehydrated, and gator-aid really does replace all sorts of stuff that you barf out of your system while re-hydrating you (same goes for diarrhea).

Yup that and pedialyte are helping big time. Anything else goes out almost as fast I drink it in.

I hear you. I woke up monday night with a 103 temperature and shivering cold. I missed 4 days of work and my fever just started to break yesterday. Valentines day was spent decorating a post-it and giving it to my wife as an iou.

I've never been so sick and delirious that I was actually scared.

Been sipping gatorade and soup today. Get better.

Now, the real qustion is what sucks more...a weekend spent being sick or a weekend spent moving (eg switching apartments). That's a race that's running neck and neck...

I'd rather be sick. I hate moving more than just about anything.
