 Garamon in action!
First time I've seen this posted online- the 13th ep of Ultra-Q, the first appearance of Garamon:
http://www.emsos2006.org/video_4yoqlBLixNk.html
Heavily pared-down version, but you still get to see some of his best moves (I really love it when he's getting ready to charge the dam...that little craps-shooting move he does is priceless ).

I got the Ultra Q set on DVD (not official version) and I totally fell in love with the series. Great stuff. Changed my perspective a lot and now Goro and Peguila are on my top five for kaiju creatures and toys.
Thanks for posting...

Awesome! I wish there *was* an UltraQ DVD set with English subtitles, but I'm almost certain that there's no such thing.
Yeah, gotta love his "angry flapping hands" moves. He's much more intimidating than little Pigimon.

The first two seasons of Ultraman are available on DVD in the West, and include both the dubbed and original Japanese soundtracks. Careful though ... they'll only make you love the toys even more.

One of the the items I was hunting for a good while was the soundtrack. I did manage to finally get it on ebay and its fantastic. It runs from Bond themes, 50s horror film, whimsical carnival music with a good dose of creepy and off beat jazz. Not normally my cup of tea but after seeing the series it hit me.

Actually, he has a lease with an option to buy....
Yeah, Jeb, no subbed versions released, unfortunately.
After wearing out the VHS dub I've had for years of several Ultra-Q episodes (both Garamon eps, the Kanegon eps, the Peguila ep), I finally had to replace it. I was hoping a subbed edition was available, but no dice. I would've bought the whole set, if that had been the case, but as it is I decided to hold out, and bought only the fourth volume, which has both Garamon episodes on it. Should be in the next celga box!
