See, that's what I'm talking about.

Whenever I hear the song "Vampira", I picture you as the Horror Kid.

I'm over the "drinking to excess" thing. Now, I can go out and have a few really good beers, get a little buzz, and it's all good. Can't beat a good hefeweizen or pale ale...

I'm all about the Pale Ale's these days.

Boulevard Pale Ale (made where I live KC)
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Longhammer India Pale Ale by Red Hook
Duke India Pale Ale (got this at a local restaurant not sure if it is availabe elsewhere but it's awesome)

have you tried stone pale ale? Try ruination or the india pale ale. It makes the others seem weak.

If you hate drinking don't do it. If you're in a scene where everyone drinks and you don't like it...then you should be able to not do it or hang out with other people.

Yeah but excessive toy collecting doesn't give you Psoriasis of the liver. :)

But they can both potentially leave you penniless and without friends.

I've never thought social drinking was that bad. Plus I make sure I don't have to go to work in the morning. Drinking when you can just chill is cool. Drinking and then hungover at work is not.

In my college days, drinking in excess was fun. Now I find it more enjoyable to just go out and have a few. I can't stand having hang overs anymore, it just completely derails your day.

I'd much rather use my booze monies on toys.

Those were my thoughts at the time . . . unfortunately a low alcohol threshold and a 'short fuse' made for some scenarios I don't wish to chance repeating.
