What are you guys in the States hearing about Mugabe and his shenanigans?
Has Bush or anyone in the US Administration made any statements? I've not really heard anything to that effect. One interesting thing I heard was that one of the reasons that the UN is reluctant to get involved is because it would need 5 votes of yes from it's permanent members one of which is China who happens to be selling arms to Zanu PF, so they aren't to keen on stepping in.

Bush did make a statement today which i think is just another attempt to grab at straws before he leaves office. He has to try and make some positive appearances and statements for the history books.
It's interesting that the queen and nelson mandala denounced mugabe today, i don't know if it'll do much because Mugabe and his henchmen are pretty enclosed in their rhetoric.
