Post BALZAC Pro-Wrestling
Anyone seen any info/pics on this?

(shamefully copied and pasted from another forum)

TAKA Michinoku was recently interviewed on the Samurai! TV, S-Arena show... TAKA mentioned a project that was in the making and that has already garnered a lot of attention. This quickly brought up a lot of questions and the first and most important was if he had anything to do with all the departures from all the young wrestlers from various independent promotions... He of course stated that he obviously had to do with those departures... He then mentioned that this project was a new independent pro-wrestling promotion and that it would have a roster full of some of the top independent talent in the world. TAKA mentioned that he had a very big financial backer backing up the idea and that there was no way in the world that this could possibly fail, because it had the talent and money behind it. TAKA then revealed and introduced his financial backer... Balzac's singer, Hirosuke Nishiyama. Hirosuke of course said he fully endorsed TAKA's plans and that this project would be known as "BALZAC Pro-Wrestling" and that Balzac would be performing all the wrestlers themes and would be playing a set before the shows. TAKA then introduced the roster of wrestlers that would be affiliated to BALZAC.... Revealing the following roster:

Fiendish Club:
TAKA Michinoku
Daisuke Sekimoto
Shuji Kondo
HARASHIMA
Munenori Sawa
Katsuhiko Nakajima
Fujita "Jr" Hayato
Yoshitsune
Takashi Sasaki
GENTARO

Dark-ism Heel-gun:
Dick Togo
Kengo Mashimo
Magnitude Kishiwada
KUDO
Takehiro Murahama
Masaaki Mochizuki
Shingo Takagi
MIKAMI
KAGETORA
Onryo

TAKA then said that he contacted all these guys and offered them a better offer than what they were receiving from the promotions they used to be affiliated too and that he would give these guys a better opportunity to showcase their talent, due to the fact that many of them felt they were being underutilized in the promotions they used to affiliated too... TAKA also stated that the roster was kinda small for now, but that more guys were unhappy with the treatment that they were receiving and that were already contacting him about possibly joining BALZAC.

TAKA said that the debut BALZAC show would be taking place on June 19 at Shinjuku FACE and that the show had already been promoted as a Balzac concert, but that fans that paid to go to the Balzac concert, would now have a free BALZAC show... TAKA said that the BALZAC show would have a big main event between the Fiendish Club vs. the Dark-ism Heel-gun in a "Last Man On Earth Match." TAKA then explained that the Last Man On Earth Match was worked similar to that of a Cibernetico Match in Mexico, except that here every man would be able to tag out to anyone during the match and not in a certain batting order and that there would only be one winner and that would be the Last Man On Earth. TAKA then revealed that the official BALZAC website could be located at http://www.balzac.co.jp, though it was still under construction, but that it should be finished soon. TAKA closed the interview by thanking S-Arena for inviting him to the program, Hirosuke for the opportunity, the guys who he knows will give it 110%, the fans who have supported him in the past and in that will support him in the future.

First show followed at:

The night kicked off with Balzac paying a long 2 hour set during their concert, which drew a super no vacancy crowd of 495 fans. Once Balzac closed their set, Hirosuke Nishiyama told the fans to not leave, because the BALZAC Pro-Wrestling debut show was about to take place and the fans stayed to witness what the BALZAC Pro-Wrestling show was going to be like.

In the first match of the night, the Dark-ism duo of KAGETORA & Onryo defeated the foreign team of Low Ki & Curry Man in a match solid match that saw KAGETORA dominate for the most. The heel duo of course used a lot of uncalled for dirty tactics throughout the match, such as eye rakes and low blows.

GENTARO upset Ricky Marvin by submission with a Sharpshooter in another solid match. GENTARO dominated for the most part of the match by working over Marvin's back.

Bryan Danielson defeated Takashi Sasaki in a great, dramatic, heated match full of nearfalls. The last stretch was great, as Danielson kicked out of D-Geist and Sasaki got frustrated, so he hit Danielson with a series of Miguides, but Danielson managed to get up and surprise Sasaki with a quick Rolling Cradle for the pin. After the match, Sasaki refused to shake Danielsons hand and challenged him to another match, which Danielson accepted.

Before the main event, the rules of the match were explained.

The match starts out with the 2 teams of 8 wrestlers.
The 2 teams wrestle a regular elimination match, until 1 team is eliminated completely.
Once 1 team is eliminated, then the match turns into a every man for himself match, with each wrestler for himself.
In the end only one man will be declared the winner and the Last Man On Earth.

Everyone in the Last Man On Earth Match put on a great effort in a great match and in one of the longest matches in pro-wrestling history, going 5 seconds over 2 hours. TAKA Michinoku was of course the highlight of the match and put on a great performance, by eliminating 6 men from the match. The final stretch of the match was very dramatic and heated, as an exhausted TAKA tried everything in his power to survive against a dominant Shuji Kondo, but was unsuccessful, despite kicking out of various King Kong Lariats, Kondo was still able to eliminate him with a Kondo Clutch in the middle of the ring. After the main event, TAKA & Kondo embraced and Fiendish Club got back to celebrate, while the fans gave them a standing ovation.

Backstage Hirosuke Nishiyama was interviewed and he said he was content with the effort everyone put in tonight. He said that he loved the support showed tonight towards the show as a whole and that he was definitely going to keep BALZAC running as pro-wrestling company. He said that the next show will be in a week on June 24 at Shin-Kiba 1st RING. Hirosuke closed the interview by thanking the fans and that the June 24, full info would be available on the official BALZAC website in the next couple of days.

Post Re: BALZAC Pro-Wrestling
yeah, doubt any of them would leave their respective promotions. It's just good to see TAKA still cranking out the Michinoku Driver II.

HAHAHA

Did you write this yourself, or was this actually posted somewhere on the net?
This post had some people over at the Balzac BBS half convinced that this was actually happening!!

Parka's post said it was copied.
I think he was trying to find out if it was real or not. Thus the request for pics.

Post Re: BALZAC Pro-Wrestling
i guessing the closest thing you'll get to a balzac esq show, would be the 666 shows put on by
onryu and company. or just about every other big japan show, minus the concert.
