Soto wasn't the first person to do a sunray with a wheathered backround. He has gotten known for them but that does not automaticly make him own them.Yes they have similar styles but that backround techique is not original to soto.

I LOVE sotos work by the way and I'm not bashing him. I'm just saying that backround style is similar to early amercana art.

I like this artist devilboy :)
