Space Troopers are the next Mini Galtan. Those things went for stupid prices after they first started coming out (and I stupidly bought one from a supposed Mr. RFSO :x ), and then the prices plummeted (thankfully). I think Space Trooper would follow the same trajectory regardless of Toygraph's intent to produce to demand. But I'm very happy to hear that Toygraph is being proactive to help out their consumers. If we can get them in the States for Japanese retail prices I'll have to buy a few.

Only on Skullbrain would a sentence like this have a shred of meaning. The next time you're in a meeting with your manager, just blurt out, "Space Troopers are the next Mini Galtan." and see what kind of response you get. ;p

(I just wanted to point out to everyone how special we are.)

They (Toygraph), will need to be careful or they will saturate their market. An increase in the run size plus a bigger line will kill them. No company likes to see their stuff go up on ebay or yja but it can't be helped.
Space Troopers are cool but them seem to be a bit too expensive for me.

errrr,

hence why they are gonna make more !!!!!

they are 35-40 $ retail.
if they make runs of 100 then everyone gets em without paying flipper prices
plus it means i can get a whole army of the little bastards :D :D :D

Gatchabert makes an important point. These small companies need to be very careful about production numbers. Though from a collector's POV it sounds great to hear about a company upping numbers, it can result in saturation and even a decrease in interest in the company.

Collectors get what they want, and then some just plain lose interest when the "thrill of the hunt" and "rarity" factors are gone. Sucks to acknowledge that "coolness" and "great toyness" isn't what it's all about, but it's no good denying that things are the way they are.

I think most small companies are aware of all this, but it's tough to find that magical balance, especially after interest in your toys starts to grow.

my understanding is that we are about to be inundated with an invasion of Space Troopers.....!!

to me, this is good news as long as he keeps variation flowing in the heads, weapons and colorways. It also already looks like he's changing up the suits too so that's cool.

bring 'em on!!

if they do over-saturate their market, they really will be the new RxH. some other company will get on the band wagon soon and make a bigger toy with a clear helmet. isn't that the feature everyone's going nuts about? the face sculpt looks like a junior high kid took some sculpey and tried to make a cool skull.
