I wasn't a big fan of Peter Davidson...naturally Tom Baker was my #1 doctor. The new shows are pretty good, although they tend to lean more on overacting cheese than in the past. I kinda miss the low-tech ways of the original doctor(s).

This new 'un seem to fit the "slightly off" Doctor mold...

I liked Dave Tennant. He had the charm and craziness as Tom Baker had.

There's a new producer for the next season too, now that Davies is moving on. The new guy is the one that wrote 'Blink' and 'the empty child' (are you my mummy??), 2 of the most outstanding stories since the series restarted. The show needs less of the hero worship, and more feasible endings.
