Post selling works of art...
i've been contemplating selling off some of my original art pieces to gain some extra income, since all this stuff is basically wasting away boxed up here, but i'm clueless as to pricing art sketches. i figured dipping into the vast knowledge pool that is skullbrain would be my best bet, since any other communication ties i have are about as useless as myself when it comes to the subject of art. anyways, it's a head sketch of batman by matt wagner on 8.5 x 11 paper:

any info would be much appreciated.

i don't think this one is worth much as it's just a free con sketch & he's pretty accessible

right on. i can't think of a better way to spend a $20 bill. and that's pretty cheap for a sketch. most comic artist charge around $50 for a head sketch, unless, you know, they are free ones like the wagner work. i did get a pretty sweet superman head sketch from Matt Kirkham for free when he was new to the comic world, i think he charges for them now.
i'd like to see the laird sketch if you ever get a chance to snap a pic of it.
raw sketches from great artists are always something interesting to look at....
