 Dai-Nipponjin aka Big Man Japan Just got back from a festival screening of Big Man Japan and my mind is officially blown. One of the most original films I've seen in a long time.
It's absurd, touching, comedic, and ... oh yeah... GIANT MONSTER FIGHTS!
Any more description and I'd mess it up. I think it's going to get wider domestic distribution later in the year through Magnolia Pictures so be on the lookout.

Re: Dai-Nipponjin aka Big Man Japan I saw this back in June at the New York Asian Film Fest. Definitely fun, and comedic nod to Tokusatsu shows. I can't imagine that most american audiences will "get it" though if you don't immerse yourself in Japanese monster culture.
