 Internet Radio
I'm cleaning up the house today by myself, I need something to listen to. I suck at searching for countless internet radio stations and getting ticked I can't find anything I'm into. Today I'm mostly interested in Thrash, maybe a bit of Death metal. A lot of times I'll pull up a station and in with their mix they'll throw in crap I hate like "Static X" or something. Any suggestions?
Feel free to add more than just those genre's. That's just what I'm feeling today. I like all sorts of crap, 80's Itallo Disco/pop, stripped down Eddie Cochran-esque rock, Surf, whatever. Plus it'd be a cool thread just for the hell of it.
Also I remember there being a thread about this, or thought there was, couldn't find it so boo-hoo and screw the search function today!

 Re: Internet Radio
There's been a lot of ranting and raving about Spotify, though I'm not terribly impressed with it. It's handy if you want to listen to an entire album you don't have, so in conjunction with last fm and an ipod, you have everything you need I guess, but Spotify still doesn't do it for me. I stick to my ipod on shuffle. Boy, I bet that was a big help....

EDIT:l UGH, On Pandora, it's what I haaaate! Maybe my definitions suck, I put in Thrash and I'm getting Danzig's "Mother" and Iron Maiden and Pantera. I don't consider ANY of that thrash, even though I like Danzig and Maiden. I'm mainly looking for stuff I missed in the ages or new stuff, not cliche' junk I may or may not know.

 Re: Internet Radio
try last fm. http://www.last.fm/listen type in a band you want to hear and is will stream stuff in that style. I think that's more to your liking. Spotify is probably like pandora, but I don't think we can get pandora over here anymore. I don;t recall liking pandora either.

 Re: Internet Radio
Last.FM is pretty tight. Lots of great stuff on there, and you choose what it plays so there's no weird junk hanging out unless you put it there. It does seem to get hung up on playing the same song a bunch of times, though, but maybe that goes away after a while? Here's what I've been listening to (Lil Wayne and Municipal Waste and Lost Sounds, basically): http://www.last.fm/user/VELOCITRON
