 Wavering Radiant
Did anybody else pick up the new ISIS album today? Thoughts?
Here are my quick notes I posted about the album on another forum.
On my 3rd way through "Wavering Radiant" & it is exactly what I was hoping for. Not nearly as crushing as their early stuff, but you can tell they have come a long way as musicians. The recording quality is superb. You can pick out any & all of the instruments very easily. The keyboards are very much a factor of the music now. Aaron actually tries to really sing for the first time & I like it a lot. Yes, there are clean vocals on previous Isis records, but not nearly this well done. I'm very happy with it.

 Re: Wavering Radiant
Since it is recorded by the same dude that produced Led Zeppelin, this is no doubt their best sounding release ever. All of the instruments are super well balanced in the mix and you can hear more of Cliff's psychedelic influence. And you are right, they have come a looong way.

 Re: Wavering Radiant
I've had it for a while now. I have to say that I really, really enjoy it. It's up there with Oceanic for me. The way the song wringing has progressed is awesome. I really wasn't into the last record at all but man, this one is awesome. Can't wait to see them in 10 days.
