 Swoopo ?
Just signed up, has anyone here used this auction site yet. Could be good , could be bad, depends on how you look at it and how you bid.
Interesting to say the least...
You have to buy bids, each bid cost 0.75 , you buy packages. There is a cheap package of 30 bids for 23.00
The deal though is that you can't snipe, if you bid the auction resets 20 seconds.
I may try it out but curious if anyone here has tried with good results.
The BAD...
You cant tell is the site itself is bidding and thus shilling for themselves ....
And once you "bid" you loose your bids even if you don't win.
So say you place 4 bids on an auction , you don't win said auction, you loose out on 3.00 and you 4 bids.
BUT ...
If your bidding on a 1000.00 item and win it for 10.00 with 10 bids you win it for 17.50.
IF you check past listings you will find all sorts of these deals.... BUT again they don't show the auctions that ended for more that what the regular MSRP. Those get deleted.....
I scoured the internet and there are all sorts of good reviews and bad reviews.
Whats your thoughts ??
Hmmmmmmm....

 Re: Swoopo ?
I've been following this website for a while and deciding whether or not their is a way to undercut them and still make money. My friend sicked a computer program on it that tracks peoples bids and how much they end up spending vs. what they get back. Without colluding with fellow bidders it is extremely difficult to discern an 'optimal strategy'. If only one could work with fellow bidders. As is its a ripoff I believe.
