I love that cover! Criterion releases great stuff! I used to have a laserdisc player just so that I could get the Criterion collection releases, back when they were laserdisc only. Yeah, I'm old school...

My friends would just shake their heads in confusion... kind of like when I tell them about the $90 toys I buy now.

Re: What else do you buy at SDCC? back to the haggling BS...and speaking as one of the people who will have to deal with it this year...I am bracing myself for the worst con ever in regards to complaints about pricing. people haggle now no matter how much they are spending or what they are buying...this will most likely be the big market in Jerusalem (in which I spent almost a year) dressed up as SDCC.
thankfully we're like the tourists in the market, as I don't think anyone here has ever haggled the price of new release kaiju.
