I didnt think I was gonna be able to fly out to the Toy Karma II show at Roto, but it seems I may actually be able to make it.

I have been asking for advise and so far so good. I just need some advise on a hotel. Any good hotels that are close to Roto ?

I like being able to fly in, and get to a hotel that is close to where I'm going so I can explore the neighborhood a bit by foot.

Any advise would be great, also a skullbrain meeting and night out would also be killer

I'm hoping I can make it as it seems like this is going to be a blast !

Awesome tip, thanks Missy. Hmm seems like there isn't much going on around Roto, esp. across the street haha. This seems like the last place you would find a toy shop like Roto.

If I'm going to be there I was wondering any any locals know of whats good to see or do around there.

If I was staying over, I would find someplace in the loop area and take a cab... but I don't know the city that well either.

Public transportation goes everywhere and is, generally, reliable and easy to figure out. I wouldn't waste cash on cabs, but I'm cheap.

stay down in the loop. being downtown was great and we could walk everywhere.

One of the booking sites...expedia, travelocity, orbitz....has a pull down where you can look for hotels by different city areas.

Hahaha yeah I actually have a filter where they are just sent to the trash without me having to see it.
