I bet someone got a new asshole torn for that one. His mic screwed up. Considering how often that happens in the real world at real gigs, that was a perfect flub if there ever were one. Also, Fred Armisen got the gig at SNL after this video of him at SXSW 1998 got passed around. Basically Fred goes up to tons of indie/alt-rock figures and acts like a retard or a blind guy or a deaf guy or a foreigner or just an ass. He's great!

I really like his incoherent improvisational comedian on Weekend Update. My real beef is that the show is lacking a good physical comedian and the Fred seems to get stuck doing all that stuff when he's really more cerebral.

Re: Fistfight in the Parking Lot! Armisen has played for Les Savy Fav and also along with Tim Harrington on his Beardo show, which was funny. Not related but Tim had a surprising role in Superjail which I think is the absolute greatest. Funny how things connect. Anyways the best part about this skit was right afterwards when Sudeikis dropped the f bomb and quickly grabbed his mouth. I wonder how many people caught that.
