 cryptozoological furball Discovered In northern Ontario:  
Some residents of Big Trout Lake, an Oji-Cree community of 1,200 south of Hudson Bay, believe the animal is a rare local creature known as an omajinaakoos, which roughly translates to “ugly one”. Band councillor Darryl Sainnawap said his great uncle spotted one about 50 years ago.

Re: cryptozoological furball This guy is strange alright, but frightening in size or appearance, not really. it seems like lately the cryptozoological finds have left a lot to desire in Nature's monsters. A new species of weasel or rodent however would be cool and a pretty big find.
