All bickering and other points made aside, I think what it boils down to is that most people on this board who have been here for a little while are pretty trustworthy, and deserve at least to be contacted if any problem or concern arises with a transaction before measures are taken to escalte the situation to PP. That seems to be the point Mikeee initially made with this thread, and although you've rebuted all other points and gestures, you still have not really answered that simple question. Why escalate something like this before even once bothering to contact the board member personally? I just feel like a quick PM would have gone a long way, giving you some reassurance that it was legitimately mailed out, and preventing the mudslinging that was sure to ensue. It is not uncommon for shipments from Canada to exceed 2 weeks, and I'm sure after messaging him, Mikeee would have sent you a photo of the shipping receipt, if it really even needed to go that far. After all, postal delivery and handling time is what it is... it can't be controlled by the seller... and if it was made clear prior to shipment that there was a deadline for a birthday, I'm sure expedited shipping options could have been discussed.

I don't enjoy all he drama that comes with this board. Though I'm sure there are those that do I use to chime in on all the flame wars and bullying but nowadays I just wanna enjoy collecting and support all those that feel the same. As Cubensis pointed out, I would never have called out this situation had there been some proper communication or warning prior or good reasoning to the Paypal escalation. I judged Brad's actions as treading WAY out of line and irrational to say the least that won't be solved calmly if I silently messaged him behind the scenes. By calling him out, I risk further provoking dictatortot's claims dispute but that's a risk I'm willing to take. At least it'll act as a warning call for all members here.

Once again, are you saying you will send my package? Apparently, it hasn't even left your house yet. I will be glad to withdraw the complaint once I'm assured it will be mailed, because before you said it was not being tracked, but insured, so I'm not sure which to believe.

Quick update fellow Skullbrainers, dictatortot has called off the Paypal claims dispute and now patiently waiting for the package. Regardless of whether that package arrives safely or not, I have no problems refunding dictatortot's money if he insists down the road. I'm not the type to hold a grudge so hopefully everyone can do the same. This thread shall remain permanently locked for several reasons but mainly to calm the flames. Thanks for putting up with all the drama, cheers everyone and good mail day for all.
