i use charles schwab, but lately i've been divesting and getting into overpriced crazy looking skullbrain vinyl. i ahve the money taken automatically out of my banking account every month (for my roth and mutual funds). sorry, didn't answer your question....
don't know anything about ameritrade

I don't use them in particular, but they are a subsidiary with TD Banknorth and I do use them for some of my accounts. No complaints at all.
