 Guided By Voices!!! GR SHOW 30th Ticket (see last post) I can't explain how excited I am for tomorrow... GBV is playing the opening of a music venue in good ole GR tomorrow. They are also playing in Philly on 6/17 and NYC on 6/18... They were playing here tonight as well but it sold out a long time ago, so they added a second show tomorrow that I scored tickets for... YES original lineup, Gold Star For Slipstar Boy...

Re: Guided By Voices!!! Congrats, I missed out on their west coast dates for the 93-96 golden line up tour and am still sore from it. Hoping I'll be able to see them before they go back to not being a band. Savor the show you lucky duck.

So this day couldn't possibly get any shittier, I woke up this morning with my back flaring up again, (I got hit by a drunk driver when I was 14, I was on foot, he was in a truck) my back has been giving me major problems this week and I just picked up a refill on my prescription yesterday... This morning I reached for my bottle and realized it was completely empty... The only way someone could have gotten to it was to go through my wifes purse at work, hit the unlock button, then ransack the car for whatever... (My wife and I work together) So someone at work stole all my meds, I'm in total pain and can't get out of bed today, much less go to a concert... What really hurts my feelings is that they didn't leave me anything, I mean come on at least have the courtesy of leaving me enough to take the pain away until I can get back to the doctor (who's gone all weekend BTW) on top of that my prescription is super expensive, and it all came out of pocket because I don't have health insurance...
If anyone on here is in Michigan and wants a free ticket to go see GBV tonight hit me up... I'll check this at least once before 6... This news report was brought to you in part by the fine folks at Debbie Downer...
