 Thundercats?
Anyone watching the new Thundercats series on Cartoon Network? I personally really like it... The storyline seems fresh and inspiring... I was just wondering where all the good kids shows have went... Does anyone remember Conan the Adventurer...? Those were the days..

 Re: Thundercats?
I used to watch that Conan cartoon religiously after school, another favourite was Gargoyles! Might have to give Thundercats a go since i completely missed the original series when i was a kid.

 Re: Thundercats?
I watched the first episode of Thundercats and was'nt impressed. I tried watching again a few days ago - same result. Admittedly, I was not of fan of the original serie either.

 Re: Thundercats?
I tried checking out the new Thundercats, and wasn't impressed. The only things on Cartoon Network that I really like these days are Adventure Time, Regular Show, Flapjack, and to a lesser extent Gumball (because it is one of my daughter's favorites and it sure beats iCarly).

 Re: Thundercats?
O.k. well for one Adventure Time is a really smart show, I think it's one of my favorite cartoons right now, but honestly I loved Thundercats. I don't see how you could reach any conclusion besides awesome. I mean some of the fight scenes are a little cliche (just because I've seen the same fights in every other anime styled show.), but I like the fact that they use a Japanese company for the animation. If you didn't like the original, you won't like this, but it feels really adult in nature comparatively to the old series. What is it you don't like, Wing?

 Re: Thundercats?
Adventure Time can't really be compared to Thundercats. I LOVE Adventure Time(even own 2 of Finn's swords), but Thundercats is good as well.
The 1 change I'd like to see with Thundercats is to make the "moral" less obvious. Plot points typically follow this: Liono has some sort of short coming, Liono Keeps trying and eventually learns from mistakes, Liono Succeeds in the end. I'm okay with this type of storytelling, but they don't need to make it so obvious. Give kids some credit for catching on to things.
