 I'm Thankful For Skullbrain
Its Thanksgiving morning where I live, and I wanted to make a post about one thing I'm surely thankful for- This message board and the community here. Thank you. We're a crazy bunch, but it's great. I've met more then a few of you now IRL at conventions, (something I never did on other boards).. And I've made some real friendships, long distance and local and I'm especially thankful for that. Anyways I hope all our American members have a good holiday with their loved ones today, and even if you're not American- you can still join in and have thanksgiving today too if you want. thanks Skullbrain, thanks Super7, thanks everybody who's helped me out in one way or another over the years!

I'm thankful for this community as well. I LOVE the toys, but some of the friends I have made are equally if not more special to me! Thank you skullbrain

 Re: I'm Thankful For Skullbrain
Well it's not my Thanksgiving, but I can definitely appreciate the sentiment, and concur. I am thankful Skullbrain is around, for the wonderful folks I have met through it, and the invaluable knowledge I have gained from it. Virtual and otherwise, I can honestly say that this small community has meant a fair bit to me, and I would be in a different situation altogether if it weren't around. So thank you to you, the members, the whole S7 crew for making it all possible, and the special thanks to all the folks who have helped me out with advice, toys, or just general conversation - all griping aside, you're a great bunch of people.

I am thankful for this place as well.
it has opened my eyes and given me an appreciation for toys and artists that would never have appeared on my radar otherwise.

 Re: I'm Thankful For Skullbrain
I'm thankful for the amazing people I've met here online, even the prickly pears. I think the community has bred more than just a desire for fine Japanese vinyl, it's also opened the door for friendship.
I'm also thankful, for the members of this community, that are actively designing, and making toys, and sharing their wonderful brainchildren to the members of SB.
Thank you to Brian Flynn, without you this site wouldn't be possible, and I think 99% of us can't thank you enough, in my life your success with Super7 has been a true inspiration, and although there are imitators, there's one thing they haven't been able to replicate. The soul that's put into every release.
People always say that they put their heart and soul into something. Well guys, we can see it, coming out in our Ollies', and Joes', our Zollmens', and Greasebats'. Somehow you've found the key to creating the perfect toys, and because of that "We should always take the time to smell the Roses.", even if those roses are ready to have you for Thanksgiving dinner.
Peace, and Goodwill to all!

 Re: I'm Thankful For Skullbrain
Not quite myself these past few days so I'll keep it brief - Skullbrain is easily my favorite place on all of the information superhighway, not least of which because it hosts so many of my favorite people that I've never met. Thanks for the great information, the great conversation, the great toys and all all the random Whatever that dresses it all up. Don't know what I'd do without it.
A special thanks to Linda for the turkey, although next year I'd appreciate if the stuffing had a little less cut flashing and packing popcorn in it...

 Re: I'm Thankful For Skullbrain
i can't have all the toys I want ('how many toys are enough?', 'just one more' he said ) but being able to see photos of them in people's collections and being able to discuss them with this herd of shameless addicts makes me thankful for skullbrain

 Re: I'm Thankful For Skullbrain
^ Hippies FTW! Thanks SB and all SB'ers! Among the many things that I am thankful for, such as my family, friends, good health, etc, I'm also thankful for being able to be a part of this great community, for the great friends that I have made and will make, for the amazing toys and information, for the tempting sales, for the incredible artists who create, for the companies that produce, for the stores/people that distribute all of the wonderful sofubi (and other items) that we love to collect, play with, share, and talk about. Thank you everyone! And I hope all of our fellow American members have had a very Happy and gut-bursting Thanksgiving!
