Post Macbook Case
I just picked up the new MacBook Pro 15" and being that this is my first Mac, I would like to take good care of it. Do any of you Mac Users have any good case suggestions? I am going on vacation soon so I need a good carrying case but also would like a case for the computer itself. Please help!

Thanks SB!

Post Re: Macbook Case
you can try for these, which give the computer the most protection

http://www.amazon.com/iPearl-13-inch-Aluminum-Unibody-MacBook/dp/B001NJTZUS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1341347545&sr=8-2&keywords=macbook+pro+case

Honestly though I prefer soft cases and then put the computer inside a backpack. Hard cases can get annoying after a while, for me at least.

Oh and you may also wanna pick up a keyboard protector (keeps it clean)

Get a laptop fan by Logitech. you can find them for like 25-30 at target or walmart. I have one for my 13 inch mac and its nice. 2 speeds on it to keep the bottom cool. uses one of the usb's to run it, but doesnt hit the battery too hard if you use the "1" setting. plus its good for using it in the bedroom or on the couch/coffee table.

Idk about the keyboard protector. Not sure where the vents are on the pro, but if they are like my MacBook the keyboard protector traps the heat in. Plus the one I had was sticky and not only attracted a lot of lint/dust, but was also hard to clean

I'd just have clean hands when using the MacBook :)

Post Re: Macbook Case
ive had my macbook pro for 2 years now- traveled the world with it and use it everyday/everywhere

i just have an incase case for it, and i carry it around in a tote bag. its still in nearly perfect condition except one of the black plastic sliders on the bottom fell off and i glued it back on. and i also put a sticker over the apple.

Thanks for the advice guys. I picked up an incase messenger bag today. Now Ill take a look at some protector cases for the Mac itself.

Now who wants to give me lessons on the fuckin' thing?
