Post The Killing
So anyone else watch the season 3 premiere of The Killing? So glad this show is back! The end scene...wow what a set up for the new season. I was looking for a place online to watch it and after I finally found one turns out you can watch it for free on AMC. I'm glad I'll something to watch between GOT ending and Breaking Bad.

I've only seen the original, but quite enjoyed it. Not sure on remakes though; I haven't really seen any that I wasn't disappointed in. I didn't realise they were already at three seasons on AMC, but I guess not having US tv I haven't really been paying attention.

I am also really in need of something to fill that slump for the summer. Hopefully Boardwalk will be back on soon.

I enjoyed it also. It looking like they are doing a good job of cutting out the bullshit that slowed the series down to begin with.

Hopefully they continue on like this and they stay true to it being a 1 case per season type deal.

Post Re: The Killing
So wow a lot has happened! I felt so bad for Holder last night. This season has me really scratching my head to figure out who the real killer is. Pimp and Priest are out. I knew getting Mills with 2 episodes to go would lead to a dead end. Here's my list of suspects:

That bald headed prison guard Becker. He really has it in for Seward to be executed because once he's dead -case closed. He's never around his family and is always 'out' when not tormenting Ray Seward. His son just killed one of his Mom's b/f's so maybe he's following Dad's example? The only other person I can think of is Holder's original cop partner in the beginning of the season- Carl Reddick. Guy is an asshole. Something tells me there is more to him. Why didn't he tell Holder about Bullet's calls? Hell maybe he's in it with that kid who wanted to go to LA to model?

Post Re: The Killing
I haven't watched last night's episode yet but I'm enjoying season three.
It's a slow burn like the last two seasons and the writer's continue to do a really great job of creating a slew of suspects to keep you guessing.
I keep wondering if it's a character right in the open like last year that ends up being the killer but for now, here's where I'm heading with a guess at the potential killer;

After Sarah (Mireille Enos) figured out that Ray's (Peter Sarsgaard) son had to of seen the killer from the closet, I thought it had to be someone they knew and let in. There was no sign of breaking an entry so they pinned it on Ray. It was hinted that he had a history of violence and trouble, so after they introduced Twitch's "probation officer" in episode 1-2, I went back and thought this guy could have been Ray's probation officer and be the killer. It seems that all the murdered girls ended up going to places on their own or with someone they trusted so the probation officer becomes even more probable.
We'll find out soon enough.

Man The Killing is quite frustrating (in a good way) this season! WTF last night:
I really thought Ray was going to get the reprieve but in the end he died horribly. I mean does Washington State really still do hanging? I think that episode was a condemning one of state executions. I read an interview with Peter Sarsgaard about how inhumane they can be. Awful way to go. How about that hard ass guard Becker? Either he's full of it or he felt guilty because he knew Ray was innocent. I really wish Ray spilled the damn beans....
