 DEATH KAPPA
King Kong is dead. Godzilla is retired. Gamera who? A new Monster is in town... This looks to be pretty funny...plus Kappa will be battling a new monster (see concept art at 3:05 in video below)! http://twitchfilm.net/site/view/tomoo-haraguchi-introduces-you-to-his-death-kappa/

 Re: DEATH KAPPA
Kappa looks pretty sick in the clip. Toys to follow soon, no doubt.

 Re: DEATH KAPPA
Might actually be good (as in classic monster movie good...though I'm not going to get my hopes up too much)...the director seems pretty cool.
I agree that the Kappa looks pretty damn sweet and can't wait to see this other monster!
Toys?...I'm always ready for more Kappa toys!

I would vote for Tomoo Haraguchi to be the next president of the United States, he had me at "Fuck Digital effects"

 Re: DEATH KAPPA
YESSS count. Fuck digital effects. I watched "swamp devil" last night. Everything was great except the creature. Which ruined the movie. It would of been more realistic if I held up one of my vinyl kaiju's in front of the teevee screen.
Thanks for posting this. Do Japanese really post Kappa warning signs or is that some type of gag?

Definitely not serious, mainly for tourists or just to be cute. This movie looks like it could be very cool. No-digital kaiju is already 70% of the battle, now just keep it from being super campy

 Re: DEATH KAPPA
This movie was fun, Heidi kept cheering on Kappa, during the final fight scene... I'm still not sure about the whole scene on the beach, but if I had to guess, I think it was the super soldier amphibians... A little campy, (the Narrator scenes kept pulling me into Rocky Horror Picture show mode) but I loved that the director kept it real, instead of turning it into Giant Shark Vs.Mega Octopus. It felt like the kind of movie any Monster Movie director out of the 70's would have wanted to make.
