Yea, I love you guys and what this thread has become. Having watched Room 237 at least three times, I enjoyed reading the discussion.

My girl and I are currently on a Tang + Pinnacle tropical punch vodka kick. Though it's not as good as our other concoction -- "The Sunny [sic] and Cher," which is of course Sunny D with strawberry Smirnoff. I'm a girl drink drunk, what can I say.

Back when I scraping by living in Brooklyn we use to make what I called 'Tang Drivers' which was essentially just Tang and Vodka. Cheap substitute to OJ which can be pricey. No one really liked the drink but me and 3 friends. I guess you really have to like the taste of Tang (and be able to find it- sometimes it's hard!). Your concoction sounds good though.

^^a friend of mine in college used to buy Laser 40oz's for $1.25 (possibly the worst beer ever) and drink a 1/4 of it and then fill it back to the top with OJ and then drink the rest. just awful

Ugh...you guys can keep your freshman-style concoctions. I only like a few classic cocktails, other than that I drink liquor neat, or on the rocks after a long day of work outside.

Oh hell, maybe I'll give Evan and blueberry juice a go...that sounds just bizarre enough to be good.

Well your last name is Beverage. Hendricks is still my go to choice for drinks (I keep a liter on hand for the summer always). Despite its lovely taste I've become slightly bored with Gin & Tonic, and would like to come up with another concoction using Hendricks. Oh and the Speakeasy Show with Paul F Tompkins makes me want to drink always :

Gin and tonic? Check. But yes you are correct, the classics get boring and there is a whole world of deliciousness waiting for me out there. A friend made me a Sazerac for the first time last week, whoah mama. And Sazerac Rye is delicious straight.

Took me the longest time to warm to G&Ts. See, when I was little this old pepper-pot of a man at a family party decided it would be funny to pour me a glass of diet tonic water in place of the Sprite that I'd requested. I didn't think my seven-year-old tongue would ever recover!

I am guilty on that charge as well, though not a regular basis, and rarely anymore. Didn't take me long to realize that you have nothing to show after that pricey bottle is gone, except for diminished cognitive function.
