Post Mike Watt & Il Sogno Marinaio
On tour now:
http://www.mikewatt.com/hoot_ilsognodelmarinaio-cantosecondotour2014.html

Caught 'em here in Burlington on Friday night... people, this is a show not to be missed.
I am a lifelong minutemen/Watt fan, and have seen him play many, many times over the years in his various projects. I love the man, and would basically go to see him read the phone book aloud, with bass accompaniment. I had heard only a couple tracks from the 2nd album by this particular project before Friday night. I (and the four people I went with, including my wife and two friends who are also lifelong fans) did not expect to have my fucking mind blown as it was. SO. GREAT. I don't care if you have never heard Watt before- do you like great, highly original music, played fantastically well? Get your ass to one of these shows, if they're coming to your city. I IMPLORE YOU, friends.

NICE, goldenstash! Have a great time... I'm tellin' ya, you're in for a treat!

David- :( :( :(
If I had know how awesome it would be, I would have made this post weeks back, exhorting people to go from the start. Actually, that's not even an excuse, as Mike is a national treasure and I believe in him so much, I just should do such any time he's touring a project! :?
