I kind of hope she's not a Kenobi or a Skywalker. Maybe she was miraculously conceived like Anikin?

I did get the feeling Han, Chewie, Leia and Kylo Ren all know exactly who she is.

Despite having been disappointed with the prequels, when I heard Lucas sold Star Wars to Disney - I felt disconcerted & couldn't grasp how he could give up the fight & let go of the reigns so to speak. To me, without Lucas something would always be missing, no matter how hard JJ and crew tried. So I went into the theater, with hardly any opinions on it & quickly found myself buzzing in my seat! I honestly felt a similar excitement to when I first saw the original trilogy that has endured ever since! Can't believe it, but imho they made a rad Star Wars film, here in 2K15.

Interesting to hear Lucas reaction to the Force Awakens come out in the recent Charlie Rose interview. Some of it is not pretty (smh), and he has since publicly apologized - I was bummed he said these things, but I appreciate hearing that it wasn't so easy to let someone else take control of his legacy:

Personally, I feel the best thing that can happen to the SW franchise is Lucas being removed from it. Some times an artist can just beat it to death.

What I missed when I went to see the film was the Fox intro music prior to the start of the film.

In this case, I agree. I'm personally just relieved to see a human response, validating my disbelief that Lucas had no remorse about selling his greatest achievement. I mean, he called Disney 'White Slavers', haw damn!

Again, Force Awakens was great, loved it.

This is what I think too, yes obviously Anakin went against that trend but that he was also a little baby in the prequels (same with Ren). All my friends who watched it say Rey will be Like's daughter but the idea of it just annoys me and it would be an extremely lazy choice. There can be more than like 3 families in the galaxy. She does not have to be a Skywalker or Kenobi.

Prequels are fodder and absolute shit. They don't exist in my opinion considering how much they contradict EVERYTHING in episodes 4,5,6.
