Just looked through blood guts toys thread and posts where people quoted him are still there but his posts are gone. Maybe he requested that..? I mean even scumbagandsuperstars posts are still here after his ban.

Last thing I saw was banshee asking why Chad was a mod. Is that a ban-worthy offense to question "authority", or did things get ugly after that?

Even if it did, what does that have to do with Jason's years of posting about everything else under the sun? The loss of his picture posts alone is tragic, and the majority of his public snark was spot on - what, we shouldn't give shit to bullies, homophobes and flippers now? His posts, more than many here, showed a history of someone who was actively engaged in both the hobby and the community. Whatever the reasons that led to the complete censure of his time here, this situation sucks.

I missed whatever verbal spat went down between these members. I'm assuming it just escalated to point of no return. Doesn't look like Chad is a mod anymore either. I've had a battle or two with Jason over the years but he was definitely a good member of the community and a serious collector. No speculating BS in his love for these toys like some people. I'd never want to see him go over some silly misunderstanding or just a heated debate. We worked our differences out and you certainly never want to see an abuse of power. Banning someone is serious, and should be a decision made by more than one and not in a heated moment. Just my 2 cents...

The very fact that most were unaware tells me this spat must have been minor given the epic battles I have witnessed on SB. Granted eveyone should play fair, but tempers sometimes flare up since 'Hell hath no fury like a toy nerd scorned'.
If he even wants back after this, I think Bansheebot has a long enough track record that he should be welcomed back.

Granted. I've asked the question about Chad before. He was a moderator of the Japan Toys forum but was never in that thread. Of all the active moderators who regulate and seemingly guide the board and move threads...There are really only 3-4 who do that and of those..I would say that James is pretty active in his role and does a great job.
