This is about the lamest thing I have seen here in a long time. What a cheap stab. Further, it's pretty offensive. Seriously, you should be embarrassed. And, before you start trying to lecture and grill me (or threaten to ban me, again because you think I'm singling you out), take another look...
This left such an impression on me when I was a little kid, and I remember it vividly to this day. Remember when sky jacking was considered a dramatic event? Hate to say it, but as a female, there have been more than one instance where it got to be very scary, and no one was out, and there was definitely no time to wait for the police. There can be extreme arguments made on both sides, but I can't understand why a police force would be sent out without any practical means of defending the "peace" p.s. I am not a "liberal" or a "republican", I'm just practical!
My girlfriend's family has a Chihuahua named Charlie. It pees when it gets excited.
What a retarded attitude.
I'm the one who asked James to put this banner up. Glad he did, even if it is only for a couple of hours. Charlie Hebdo was about liberty of speech. The glory seekers told the world they killed Charlie, people speak up to prove otherwise, that's all. If any of you Charlton Hestons want to rule against that, you are entitled to your opinion but try to get your facts straight.
I'm so glad you are exercising your right to free speech by using offensive and ignorant language
He insinuating that a whole nation's pissing it's pants and I'm the rude one At least you're glad. You win.

Well Tone on the upside you managed to get noticed and burned on SB... you will now be hated by some and enjoyed by others that see you making a light hearted attempt at diffusing an otherwise tense thread. A failed attempt maybe but an attempt none the less Duder!

I don't see how a sarcastic comment that may have offended you merits or excuses your use of juvenile and clearly offensive language. It simply makes you a hypocrite. And I think this is all a misunderstanding as you are clearly identifying with a different Charlie...and you are both truly "winning"

What side are you on ?
feels like people being pitted against each other left and right lately. ( are we being played )
Are you on the "free speech" side or is that " hate speech " ? are you on the " Stop disrespecting " side or does that make you a coward ?
Religion, race, police, schools, immigration, kim jong un Ahhhhhhhhh!
One thing I'm sure of, if you think you know exactly what is going on and spout off about wrong and right...well you are probably a damn fool.

Actually SB is very much like Charlie Hebdo : it's fun, it can be impolite and offensive from time to time but you have the possibility to say what you want.
And thanks to the internet, you are not likely to be killed by another member from some comments you posted.
And that should be the same in the real life !

and what protects liberty of speech? certainly not your social media status updates.
Here's a fact, this police officer begged for his life. maybe he should have told the terrorists they were in a "gun free zone."
I never thought showing a little compassion for a simple cause would lead to a debate like this one. It's sad. + I may be a lot of thing but hypocrite I'm not. I cleared things with MonstaIslandCzar and admitted using the term retarded was inappropriate. I would not say that in my mother tongue (I would have said sans-dessein, wich is quite harmless) and apparently Tone was joking...

Re: I am not Charlie
Charlie is a real dog, and she does piss herself occasionally. She is not a metaphor. I was not trying to make political statements of any kind. I come to the board to learn and laugh. I normally just skip over the topics like this one that tend to get out of hand and are just too serious. This time I couldn’t help but crack a joke. My intent was not to attack anyone’s views, but to point out that this seems to be a place where people come to have fun. There are plenty of other places for us to go and have these serious, politically charged conversations. Of course we are free to discuss any and everything here, but we can’t expect it to be taken too seriously. I hope we can all heed the words of the Great Ones and…

Having the right to own firearms sounds all good and dandy but I'm sure every person in the eu will agree that it will just cause more murders and more attacks like this when and if firearms become easily available. Also everyone has the right to exercise free speech on this forum. I've said it once and I will say it again. I come here to talk about toys and share information about toys. It's a shame to see people fall out over something in the real world. This is my escape from reality after all. Hope everyone has a nice day!
