Did anyone in LA catch the TV special tapings? They played some really classic Misfits stuff in the morning taping ("American Nightmare" "She" "Come Back" etc.). The second taping in the evening was a regular legacy set.

Well, He showed, and it was pretty awesome. I almost lost my phone and my footing when the Misfits set started. They started Vampira and I was shoved about 10 rows back from where I started. So awesome. I don't care what anyone says. Glenn is still the fucking coolest.

I saw the show here in OKC last month. I agree it was way better than I thought it would be. Danzig seemed to be having a good time too. There was some horrible band that opened butcher babies or something. Maybe it was the sound levels but those girls sounded horrible. I agree on the perfect set list too. I had a great time!

Danzig is notorious for having terrible openers (no?).

Jealous of those who got to see shows this past tour.

Danzig was having a grand old time in san francisco, Never seen him be so high five happy with the crowd throughout the show. He was so pumped up his shirt started ripping after the first couple of tunes! haha

I went to the Halloween gig in SF as well. I agree that Danzig was on fire that night! The fact it was Halloween really added to a great & memorable night.

Saw Glenn years ago on Halloween during the Danzig 4 or 5 tour and he did NOT disappoint back then either

Samhain reunion at Riot Fest in Chicago this year!

When they did that Samhain reunion years ago was unreal. One of the best i've ever seen. Saw it at Lupo's in R.I. Had a blast. Of course during the Danzig set Glenn got pissed and refused to play Mother. Too funny.

When he did his "Legacy" set at Riot Fest in 2011 he said something like "This is the last time I'm doing this Samhain shit so soak it in. This is it!" LOL. Oh Danzig.

You may not like Danzig as a human being but if you're even reading this thread, you like the original Misfits, or Samhain, or Danzig.

We love to make fun of him and he makes it easy.

But some of the music he created will live on forever...
