 Re: Introductions
Happy to finally be a member! Had my membership waiting a year before I realized I needed to send an email to ask for approval lol. So been lurking for a year. I just purchased my first Blind Lucky Bag. Cannot wait to see what is in it. Definitely hoping for a Caveman Dinosaur and mini Vampires. My name is Jared but usually go by J.R. I have previously collected Honesukes mainly from Rotofugi when they get them in cause I have no idea where else they have them. And recently got into Konatsu Mamera and Migora. I pretty much collect it all but definitely specific colorways or things that grab my attention. I just graduated with my second degree and will be doing some combination of News Producing/Weather Anchoring.

 Finally here!
Hello! I've been trying to get an active account here for ages, and finally got it activated. This is well known to be one of the best boards on the internet!
I've developed a fascination with Japanese toys and vinyl Kaiju in the last couple of years. Love Ultraman, Gargamel, Bwana Spoons, Munktiki, Tim Biskup, Yamomark, Secret Base. The pictures here are amazing. I'm sure I'll learn to appreciate other artists just by seeing their work here.
I know new peeps are not always readily accepted, but I am here to enjoy the photos and hopefully to purchase a couple of long-sought pieces. Yes, I do buy items on ebay, and have many years of positive feedback there under the same username, but I do not flip pieces; if I love them enough to buy them, they stay with me. If the item is not what I hoped for, I would be happy to offer it up here first. Thanks!

 Re: Introductions
Welcome to the board! And I thought it took me a long time to get my account activated, but judging from your registration date you've got me beat. We're not all as bad as the reputation makes us out to be, just take some time to familiarise yourself with the board (the FAQs are a good place to start) and don't behave like a total knob, and things will be fine.

 Re: Introductions
Hello everyone, I've been collecting kaiju, "soft dolls" and robots since about the mid 1980's, I've actually been out of the collecting/buying game for about 8 or 9 years, due to financial difficulties, but I would every once in awhile pick up some pieces. I recently sold my entire collection except for most of my vintage vinyl stuff,(pics to come), that sale has re-sparked the collecting bug in me, so a really good friend of mine "Greasbat" (sorry about the name drop) told me about this forum, and WOW am I blown away by the collections and stuff that is available. Well I guess thats my intro, thanks in advance. -Later, BKC

Mostly Godzilla and Ultraman stuff, Jumbo Machinders and some soft vinyls, I kept all my soft vinyls dolls(sofubi?) and older kaiju figures(all vintage) and one jumbo Mazinga, and have already purchased a bunch of retro/repro of things I always wanted, so yes iIguess I am collecting again.

 Re: Introductions
click "User Control Panel" in top left -> click "Profile" on the left sidebar -> Click "Edit Avatar" in the group that shows up under the "Profile" you just clicked
Just needs to be hosted on another website and 80x80 or less

 Re: Introductions
Try using imageshack, I'm pretty sure Flickr prevents it's content from being used on forums, blogspot, etc. Imageshack is quick and easy

Flickr, despite the horrible new layout, is still the best for hosting photos and does not prevent content from being used on forums. I post a hell of a lot of pictures here and only use Flickr.

 Re: Introductions
Hi I am Jay, been a member for awhile but never introduced my self I like Halloween toys and non-cute Japanese toys. My first Japanese Vinyl was stumpy pirate GID sold by a friend who luckily had duplicates. I could have stopped then and there. My Wife and I are now starting our own toy biz. Not necessarily to blow the socks off of Skullbrainers *would be nice. But to hopefully replace or augment some of the mass produced china toys/ Thanks to SUPER7 for the awesome toys and board.
