Was what I did any worse than me take any other ryusei or matango and acetoning them ?? are there sausages inside either of them?
I believe you meant to say, are there "meaty fuckpoles" inside either of them?

Rhino, i'm gonna take one of those 15 green KvPs you've been hoarding, paint it fudge color and stick it up your ass. then tell you to go fuck yourself.
i'm kidding. i'm just gonna take one of those KvPs and paint it blue.

If your customs could be reproduced at the factory, usually to a higher level of quality, I think you should think twice about calling yourself an artist or selling your customs at all. This is basically the same thing as holding up a coloring book and saying "look at my cool painting." Most people can keep within the lines after some practice.
Do what you want with your toys. It is the bravado of people painting these toys that gets annoying for me.

"scrap proposal to Glenn for "All Customs Case" at Super 7...."
.....re-title proposal "Super 7 Kaiju Coloring Book"

I have yet to see a custom that couldn't be reproduced exactly at a factory, if someone was determined to do so. We have the technology. How does reproducibility of a custom paint job devalue it?

look at leecifers customs up at Super7 right now. No way we could make them into production figures.
It is not that it can be reproduced that devalues the art it is the fact they the factory workers will paint it better (technically).
BTW - Gargamel paints all of their toys and some of ours. If you are painting over these figures you are painting over someones work who is probably more skilled than you with an air brush.
I still say paint away but start acting high and mighty and someone will pull you down to earth.

Yes, tis' true.
Any excuse to work w/ the cats at Super7!
I've still got to collect my notes and write this proposal up, so if any boardies are interested in adding their two cents hit me up w/ a pm. Keep in mind I have little authority/say on how this will actually take shape so don't be hurt if your concept or idea isn't included.

My favorite customs are the ones that look like production toys actually, but maybe that's just me. I like 'em simple like Koji's (I doubt a factory could do some of the stuff he does though).
