Post Re: Blue Jean Junkies?
i have a couple pair,
selvage levis 514
naked & famous
and a pair of apc new standards, that i'm on month 5 as of today.
pics 3 months in

looking to get a nice pair of jean shop or raleigh in oct/nov

as for those 32oz naked and famous, barney's still has a couple pair here in sf i think. guy i talk with about denim calls them "collectors' jeans" because no one that buys them really ever wear them due to the amount of work that in involved in even breaking them in.

Wow Eric, that's great! Interesting experiment/journey you have there with the Apc.

I am planning on scoring an APC myself, any suggestion as to what line, model, or kind should I first try? I am comfy wearing a straight cut. Sometimes a little tapered or semi skinny would be awesome too.

Lurker, there's a bunch of choices for long legged dudes like you on YJA, have you tried searching?

Edwin is a nice Japanese brand, I heard.

chad, Iron Hearts generally come in nothing shorter than a 36" length.

Has anyone tried Fiber Ops? They come up on Jackthreads some times for reasonable prices.

go with the New Standards, straight cut, the New Cure are a bit baggier. Sizing warning, for New Standards go down 1-2 sizes because the waist WILL stretch. i'm a 34 i bought 32 and after about a week they were perfect at the waist. New Cure is size 1 down, they are a bit stronger and stretch a lot less.
