 Re: comics?
I don't know if it's been mentioned, but Locke & Key is one of my favorite books out right now. The first book made me cry, and brought me back to feelings of youth. My favorite issue was a dedication/tribute to Bill Watterson, drawn in the style of Calvin and Hobbes. It's pure emotion.

I'm still digging Fables.
But have to say that the new DC logo blows.

^ I'm not a huge Hermann fan but Sarajevo-Tango was great. Mandatory, actually. I'm pretty sure that it was translated. Do you have it ?

 Re: comics?
For anyone into comics i would recommend checking out http://ifanboy.com/There weekly 'pick of the week' podcast has put me onto a bunch of cool stuff They also have a cool decent video podcast - the latest episode is a 30min interview with Robert Kirkman at the recent Image Expo. As for reading material right now, i know they're old, but they're so damn good: DMZ and finishing up Transmetropolitan

 Re: comics?
I just started a thing at tumblr - I'll try to review the stuff I'm reading as I go along. Just a couple of sentences per posts. I don't know how this is going to evolve, as I prefer reading to bragging

 Re: comics?
but why would you NOT want to read tons of hellboy? i'm deep in both story lines... so excited at the possibility of roger's return! also just picked up phonograph... only two issues in, but really intrigued to see how it turns out.

Transmet and Phonogram are the two comic books that make everything in the world ok for me so you can see why i posted the teaser for vol 3 of phonogram... seriously best comic news i had gotten since vol 2 was released lol

 Re: comics?
Hellboy is not as great as it used to be. For me, all the collaborations has weakened the book. On the other hand, what is the problem on Hellboy works very well on Mignola's other titles. I always wait for the trades, these came out just a few weeks ago.

 Re: comics?
Just read about this interesting endeavour from Yusuke Murata. The comics are posted to twitter, and while only being simple B&W sketches on paper, he has created a delightful sense of depth through keen skill and some amazing well-placed folds. More here.
